The Big Chip awards have always been a big deal in Manchester and we were lucky enough to bag a nomination at this year's proceedings for our FA Use Your Head animation. Mike, our web developer also find himself nominated for the Little Chip student award for his third year dissertation: Investigation into a monolithic approach to context-aware authentication (yes, we were a little stumped by the title at first, too)!
While we unfortunately remained a nomination in our category, Mike was crowned as the winning student, which put the smile back on everyone's faces. Mike's animated video basically summarises the idea of authentication and different ways of using context-aware information to improve authentication systems. Mike produced the entire video by himself, including all of the animation. We're all really proud of what he's achieved and he's also just found out he's graduating with first class honours, so it's clear to see that all the hard work has paid off.
