Dr Sarah Davies is one of the UK's leading functional medicine doctors, offering patients a holistic approach to address the root cause of disease. We worked with Sarah and her north-west based clinic to create a brand and digital presence that reflected the powerful effects of nature and science combined.
The branding uses nature's geometry and patterns of seeds to represent the joining of the dots and using nature to heal and bloom back to health. The dots symbolise the fact that functional medicine can join the dots that are often only seen in isolation within traditional medicine and short appointment types.
A classical serif typeface has been used alongside the contemporary logo marque, to create a sense of balance that will appeal to a wide range of patients. The colour palette contrasts a bold purple with a mixture of muted tones to ensure the brand feels grounding and gender neutral.
The fully responsive website allows visitors to explore the range of services on offer and aims to reassure potential patients and instil confidence in Sarah's expertise as a fully qualified medical doctor and certified Functional Medicine practitioner.
If Functional Medicine is a new term to visitors, the website explains exactly what to expect from this pioneering approach to healthcare and real life case studies and testimonials support the results it can have in restoring people's health.
We also continued the branding rollout across the clinic and all of the printed materials that patients are given along their journey.
To further build engagement with the clinic, we created a complimentary recipe e-book filled with vibrant, healthy recipes that is directly sent when prospective patients sign up to the newsletter.
The final piece of the branding was creating strong, impactful messaging that gave clarity to what Functional Medicine is and the clinic's core approach. This was then combined with the branding and rolled out across the clinic's social media channels and their sister project, the online store, My Functional Apothecary.
