Play-Cricket is the England and Wales Cricket Board's (ECB) flagship scoring and statistics service, used by millions of grassroots players and volunteers each week. We teamed up with the ECB to update the Play-Cricket identity and digital presence. This included the marketing of two new apps which allow clubs to score games in real time, and friends and family to catch every moment of the match.
The updated logotype, colour palette and imagery is bold and clean placing the platform in a stronger position against competing services within the grassroots game. We also worked closely with the marketing team to create a consistent tone of voice that worked across the platform's offering.
The Live and Scorer apps are new product launches which offer time-saving tools to clubs, allowing scores to be uploaded to the system in real-time, with friends and family able to follow along with every ball in the Live app. We created promotional sites, social assets and email marketing materials to help spread the word to every Play-Cricket.com subscriber and potential new users.
